COURSE DESCRIPTION:              

This one-day training course will provide participants who intend to perform internal quality audits with the necessary knowledge and skills to conduct an audit of a company’s management system and thus be be able to contribute to continual improvement of the company’s management system.

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

  • Explain the objectives and benefits of internal auditing

  • Know the required competences and personal attributes of an auditor

  • Distinguish between the major types of audits

  • Apply the principles of auditing

  • Apply the tools and techniques for auditing

  • Explain the audit cycle and elements of internal auditing

TRAINING PROCESS:

  • Lectures — you listen and learn about the standard, and the skills and techniques of the auditor

  • Questions — you ask them; of the trainer and of each other. There is no such thing as a dumb question!

  • Workshops — you participate in the process, apply the lessons taught and practice the skills learned.

 

TRAINING TIME:

  • Registration begins @ 8:30 a.m.

  • Training starts @ 9:00 a.m.

  • Morning coffee break @ 10:30 a.m.

  • Lunch for 1 hour @ 12:30p.m

 

N.B.:   Full attendance of all participants is required. A certificate of attendance or achievement will be issued within 30 days of training activity
