Overview of Scope of Work:

The scope of the Committee relates to the development, revision or adoption of standards relating to transportable gas containers.  The Committee’s current workplan included the revision of:

  1. JS 322: 2012 Jamaican Standard Specification for Transportable gas cylinders – Fully wrapped composite cylinders- Published August 2021

  2. JS 323: 2012 Jamaican Standard Specification for Transportable gas cylinders – Periodic inspection and testing of composite gas cylinders- Published December 2021

  3. JS 31: 2014 Jamaican Standard Specification for The repair and rebuilding of low-pressure welded steel transportable gas containers -  Published June 2022
