Tourism and Related Services Technical Committee

The Tourism and Related Services Technical Committee was reconvened in 2019 to conduct the revision of the following two (2) Jamaican Standards:

  1. JS 319: 2012 Jamaican Standards Specification for Spa entities
  2. JS 321: 2021 Jamaican Standard Specification for Tourism entities using high angle techniques.

With the tourism industry being a major contributor to Jamaica overall economic position, the committee seeks to ensure our local tourism entities have access to standards that are aligned with international best practices.

This Tourism and Related Services Technical Committee works efficiently to address all assignments ahead of stated deadlines.
