Dr Ramdon holds a B.Sc. in Pure and Applied Chemistry (First Class Honours) and a Ph.D. (Chemistry) from University of the West Indies (UWI). During his stay at UWI, he received a number of awards which includes Dean’s List Award,Cedric Hassall Award, Sidney Phillips Scholarship and Alcan Independent Postgraduate Scholarship.
After lecturing for a few years at UWI Chemistry Department, Dr Ramdon pursued a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Florida exploring commercial pathways for the generation of Chlorine Dioxide. This work is captured ina US patent.
Dr. Ramdon has made a number of scientific presentations at international meetings and is the co-author of a few peer reviewed journal articles.
He joined the BSJ in 2006 where his focus is on improving measurement capability, instrumentation and Quality Systems in order to impact the everyday lives of people with Chemistry.
